Hersheypark will be open on Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Park admissions will be donated to the September 11 Fund. The park was originally scheduled to be open for a private event, but the company decided to open it to the public.

I work that day at the park and I think this is a very class act by the park. If I knew how much I would make that day in my paycheck, I would donate it to this charity as well.

Hershey has always been classy, and this just shows it even more.

This goes to show Hershey is not about greed like most theme parks, as their pricing during the regular season compared to other parks indicates. Things like this make Hershey #1 in my book.
