I was wondering what the crowds at Hersheypark are like on a weekday in May. Im going this wednesday and I just wanted to know what kind of crowds to excpect

People will probably yell at you next, but I wouldn't expect heavy crowds on a weekday in may at most parks.

I would look up some old trip report from around this time. Also start at the back of the park and work your way to the front. Have a great time and a wonderful trip!

5-25 is Hershey's Home school day. It shouldn't be too crowded at all. I usually go quite a few weekdays early in the season. Not bad at all.
I was there opening Saturday and the crowds weren't at all bad. Longest wait was for the Comet believe it or not and that was only due to a break down.

Crowds usually aren't too bad at most parks weedays in May. but that is usually when schools have the field trips to parks, at least they do in Pennsylvania. You may not have familys but possibly 200 busses in the parking lot filled with elementary and middle school kids.
On the bright side most of the schools leave by 6pm or so leaving a few hours of less crowds!
I actually am going there on a school trip, and i'll be there for only about 6 hours. From like 10:30-5:00

Just out of curiosity. . .Your school funds a trip all the way from Cleveland to Hersheypark? I didn't know people liked chocolate that much.

Well, when I was in grade school in Chicago, my school sponsored year-end trips to St. Louis (SFoMA), Sandusky (CP), and Atlanta (SFoG). Of course, a lot of that had to do with my parents, who are amusement park junkies, being heavily involved with the PTA! lata, jeremy
