Hersheypark in April

Ok I was just on their website and my mom says that we're going this weekend, (13,14) And I was just curious has anyone ever gone during April and does anybody know what rides will be open. Obviously the water rides and RollerSoaker won't be open, but will be? And any other information about the park?

Well, it would be better to go on a weekday because it may be a little crowded during the weekend. I went during on a weekday and got walk ons on everything!

Pretty much everything should be open, but I kind of doubt the water rides will be open like you said. Its nice and sunny around here (Pittsburgh) so it shouldn't be too bad.

Whoa! I think you better check the official page again as I'm *pretty* sure that none of the 'Midway America' rides will be running. That means no Chaos, no whip, no himalaya, but most importantly, no Wild Mouse, no Wildcat and no Lighting Racer!

If you go to the Hershey website click on the Springtime in the Park link. That takes you to anohther page; almost at the bottom of the page (on the left) there is a link to rides and ticketing. Right above the Hershey 3d link. Looks like mostly kids rides open, Great Bear and Sooperdooperlooper...I don't see the RollerSoaker, Wildcat or Lightning Racer...bummer!!!

2Hostyl is correct.

Again I show my stupidity by not checking the facts. Thanks for pointing out my moronic mistake. Next to Great Bear, those are the three best roller coasters, well, Lightning Racer and Wild Mouse anyway. Wildcat isn't my cup to tea.

I am going one of the days. Maybe I'll meet some fellow buzzers. Its still fun, and worth the money for what coasters are open. Usually the lines arent too bad, and It should be nice weather wise.

Weather forcast for this part of PA: Clouds Friday with scattered rain in the evening. Saturday: Clouds with occasional rain and perhaps thundershowers. Sunday: Clouds and perhaps some more rain. They say that we could a half inch to an inch of rain this weekend. Could be kind of soggy.

Everything in the park except the water rides and the Midway America section will be open. This includes the coasters Comet, Looper, Great Bear, trailblazer, and sidewinder.
