We arrived at the park around 1 o'clock. We headed back to the Tidal Force Catering Area for lunch, since we were attending a company picnic. Let me tell you, Hershey really makes some good hot dogs! Anyway, now on to the rides...
Lightning Racer:
The first time we rode Thunder. This is an incredible woodie, probably the best one I have been on! Unfortunately, we lost the race. We got back in line to ride Lightning. IMO, this side is better than Thunder.(and we also won on this side) I love it when you are like right next to the other train during the ride! We got 2 more rides on this later in the day(4 total, 2 on Thunder, 2 on Lightning). We won both times on lightning, but only once on thunder.
Wildcat:
An awsome ride, still one of my favorite woodies. It does seem to be a little rougher though. It was a fun ride, until the final turn before the picture. We were sitting in the last seat and the ride jerked me into the side of the car and my riding partner banged his head right into my shoulder. But we were laughing. All in all, it was a fun ride(lots of air time)!
Trailblazer:
I haven't been on two many mine rides. And this one used to be alot better when I was a kid. First, I could barely keep my butt on the seat cause it was so small. Second, the ride is way to short. And Third, after that short flat area(where it then drops into a little turn) I got jerked into the side again and my riding partner banged into my shoulder, but once again, we were laughing about it. That banging kinda adds to the fun! It's an ok little ride.
Sidewinder:
I guess it is just your typical bommerang. Although I think it is the only bommerang I Have been on. It's a pretty exciting ride, but I don't like the head banging in the boomerang part.
Great Bear:
An excellent inverted coaster! Although it is quite short. I wish it were longer with more inversions. great tr. i loved this park also. we went on a saturday night starlight and it was awesome! we rode everything except the mouse, sidewinder, and trailblazer. including double rides on great bear and 6 rides on the looper. this is truly an amazing park. i thought lightning racer lacked something, but it was still awesome. wildcat is the very best (and one of the only ones i like) twister. comet, along with big dipper and blue streak, is one of the very best old out and back airtime machines i love. everyone should go to hershey sometime, its really a great place.

Great bear seems like an underrated coaster. It's just as smooth as raptor only a bit shorter. And it doesn't have that annoying kink at the end that raptor has. LR in my opinion is amazing. It's like a smooth wildcat but with better turns and really great seats and cars. Looper and comet are great classics and give above average rides and don't give you any bruises. Trailblazer is good for first time riders. But I really hate those restraints. Wild mouse is the only mouse I have ridden but I think it gives a really great ride. Sidewinder is your typical boomerang. Some people like em and some people don't. People don't realize how much attention this park gives to detail. Their bathrooms are the cleanest I have seen anywhere. There is landscaping everywhere. People don't realize that with a freefall ride and two more great steel coasters(one hyper/giga and one standup/floorless) and this park would be a contender with any park in the country even cp.
very true, as will bgw if they get a few nice AIRTIME filled woodies and something that duels. maybe an inverted or some new design concept.
