Hershey Staff

Does anyone know who the assistant manager of hersheyepark is?

why? what department?
My 2 cents. Hershey has some of the most friendliest staff I have encountered at an amusement park.

I have only encountered 1 not-so-nice employee at Hershey Park. I asked the lady at the chicken/fries stand across from LR for a LARGE Coke and she gave me a medium. I politly pointed out her mistake and she snapped at me and told me "That IS a large!" It was very clear to me that it wasn't a large due to the illustration on the cup, but I was so afraid that I was takeing up her precious time that I left with my medium.

BUT, I told my only bad incedent to the very nice Guest Relations employee durring my end-of-the-day visit to her and she quickly whipped out 2 50% off admission cupons to make my not-absolutely-perfect day a little bit better.

Keep in mind that I almost always end my visit to any park at Guest Relations to tell them the good and noy-so-good. I had a lot of good to tell her but when I told her the one small bad thing that happened all day, she made it up to me in the best possible way.

Oh...umm...No, I don't know who the Assistant Manager of Hershey Park is but I think I saw him on TV once.

Knott's has got some great managers too. The suits (high up managers) will check restraints, clean, and say hello to you.
HERSHEYPARK... I just had to say that...

I think AJ's point is that there are probably MANY assistant managers....in food, in games, in rides, in group sales, in maintenance, in the hotel, in Guest Relations, etc.,etc. You'll need to be specific enough to ID the person you're looking for by specific job title, or no one at Hershey will be of any more help than this thread......
I'm not sure who the assistant manager is. I think Franklin Shearer is the manager.
I have to agree with the sentiment of this post so far. Besides CP, Hershey is the best run park I have ever been to.

Every now and then at a Hershey Bears hockey game, there is some type of promotion involving the park. Last time there was one (near the end of last season), someone other than Frank Shearer "did the honors" on the ice (I forget if it was a cerimonial puck drop or what it was exactly). However, later that evening I did see Shearer talking to some people on the walkway behind HP Arena's Promenade section. Could have just been someone else down on the ice for the presentation.

Face it, call ourselves what we want, but to the parks we are all "GP".

I also have to agree. I went there for the first time in June. The security guys were talking to us as we were waitng for the gates to open. The old sweeper guy saw me taking a picture of my husband in front of the Hershey sign & he said "Why don't you get in there with him".
