Last year, when did Hersheypark announce that they were going to build a new ride?

One of the girls had a cute little kitten named kitty-kitty, the other girl had a cute little puppy named Chris, and the third girl was a republican.

The SFGadv announcement seems to be September 29, if that's what you're getting at ;)

It was early on with their "Name the Coaster" contest... but I am not exactly sure when. August or September perhaps... I don't recall when. I remember that you could see the markings for the ride either by the end of the regular season or by Hersheypark in the Dark.

Hershey made their announcement that something big was coming in early August 2003. It was later in August as to what it was, and they started their naming contest. I think it was October when they gave all the facts, and released the winning name.
