Hershey Preview Plan Question

I plan to head to Hershey and take advantage of the Preview Plan, where you buy a ticket and it gets you in at 7:30pm and then the entire next day. How does parking work for this? You have to pay twice? Or are they not charging for parking by 7:30? Thanks.
I don't recall seeing anything on the website that says parking is included, so I assume you'll have to pay twice. I've come back to the park around 2 hours before closing and the booths were unmanned. But they probably have somebody there until at least 7:30 because there are a lot of people who utilize the preview plan.

I don't know whether they're people driving in or folks from the resorts who use the shuttles. But they're standing several deep at the gates at 7:30.

Unfortunately, I am almost 100% sure you have to pay for parking both days.

Still, the $10 or whatever it is now is worth the 2.5hrs of night rides and hopefully, shorter waits!

I love that plan :)

We go almost every Wednesday around the same time, and the crowds have been heavier the past several weeks. Still very tolerable compared to a weekend. There are more people leaving the park then arriving.

Its a 50/50 chance that you'll have parking attendants at the booths. When there are other events going on at Giant Center, or the Stadium steer clear.

Well, I'm 100% sure that parking is FREE the second day. :)

If I remember it correctly, you pay for parking for the first night, then just flash the receipt the next morning and you're in.

The preview plan is a great way for you to explore the park so that you can be prepared for your big day! Bonus! Pay to park in the evening, and the next day's parking is FREE.

But like Steve said, even if you did have to pay twice for parking, it's well worth it!

On Monday, July 21st, I got 8 credits in just 2.5 hours! :) *** Edited 8/5/2008 5:19:48 AM UTC by DantheCoasterman***

We did the exact same thing last year after leaving Dorney earlier then expected. (We showed up around 6ish as I recall.)

I did this a few years ago and when I paid for the parking during the preview the attendant told me to just show my receipt and ticket from the preview and that I'd park for free the next day.

Watch the tram car please....
