Hershey Park's Roller Soaker
Just wondering, but is Hershey having a media day? I called 1800-HERSHEY but I was waiting for 15 min. for someone to pick up and I got some idiot who didn't even know what a media day was. I emailed Hershey, but of course no response back...can anyone tell me if there's gonna be a media day?

You can count on a media day for Roller Soaker because of the naming contest from last year. Remember that the winner is also getting their name put on the ride.

The media day for Lightning Racer was about 2 weeks before it opened to the public, and then they had another media day the first day of the operating season. I am guessing it will be somewhat similar with Roller Soaker.
I still think Hershey Squirt would've been a better name.

these are not the intense coasters some of us crave so badly...but that being said, they are FANTASTIC busines decisions, and add to the "family rides" arsenal in a big way, especially on hot days...haven't been to PCar sincve the new install, IoA won't let me ride theirs unless I get cut off at the knees like Cotton Hill (LOVE that show, El Dorado at SFWoA went by the name "my Cadillac car" all day...:)) So anyway, hopefully I'll get a ride on (at least) one of these nice Setpoint designs this summer...not intense, but FUN!
