Hershey Park coaster info
Over there I told the girl there about the rides office. They didn't have any of the papers I was looking for but she did get me a copy of a notice to all the workers.
It says:
HOWDY!
The "word" is going to be out soon, so I wanted y'all to be the first to know!
At this moment, a press conference is underway at HERSHEYPARK to announce the exiting new attraction that's "ridin' in" for the 2004 season. The world's first hydraulic launch coaster featuring inversions will be making its debut in the Pioneer Frontier area next Spring.
You'd best hang on th your hat "Pardner!" This bad hombre "launches" its riders from 0 to 72mph in just two seconds! It stampedes up a 150-foot hill, crests, and makes its 75mph descent down 180 feet before it storms through 2 inversions, multiple barrel rolls and a spine chillin' dive.
The only thing this hombre dosen't have is a name! Although the HERSHEYPARK "gang" came up with three possible choices, we were unable to decide which one's best. So, we're asking our "Pardners" to give us a hand!
The three name to choose from are:
Steel Stampede, Renegade, Storm Runner
Beginning at "High Noon" today and continuing through August 19, you may vote for your favorite name by visiting out website at http://www.hersheypark.com ot by calling our special toll free phone number, 1-866-HPK-2004.
You may vote as often and as many times as you like. We will announce the winning name soon after the voting ends.
