Talk about being "Cheap"...

At the beginning of this hockey season there was a full page ad in the Hershey Bears program advertising this new unnammed coaster. The ad is made to look like a poster from the old west with that little cartoon cowboy on it that is on the Hershey website (you know, the one with the scrub brush moustache). Anyway, the name Storm Runner was announced when? Back in November? Well, it is now January 23 and guess what... the ad in the porgram STILL is the old ad. After 2 months, I thought that they would have updated that ad with at least the name Storm Runner... and perhaps even the logo.

However... that would cost a little extra money... and... well... I'm not holding my breath.

(Not that it is at all important... it just bugs me)

"Yes... well... VICTORY IS MINE!"
Don't necessarily blame Hershey on that one, though. There may be a large lead time on printing the static portions of those programs, such as the ad pages. I know I see the same ads all season long when I go to a Pittsburgh Penguins game.

Talk about a short trip report.
There are many reasons for them keeping that add. Its sends the same message to the general public, making a new one would just mean more money and time. Plus, they may have had a contract to have the add displayed for a certain time period, and it just so happened that they released the name while that add still had a few months. In that case, I think they would let the add run its time, then make a new add later on. Just a few possible reasons.
