Hersheypark announced Tuesday it is constructing a 200-foot tall roller coaster named Skyrush in the Comet Hollow section of the park. The ride will be floorless and feature a 75 mile per hour first drop. It will be the tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster at Hersheypark, according to park general manager Frank O'Connell. It also features winged seats, the first of their kind in the country.

I really dig the colors!
Weird. It's an over the head lap bar.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Also while we're at it, Hersheypark now has a new video for Skyrush, which was actually an animation done by some kid in his basement (source: the guy that did it is on another forum that I moderate). Actually did a half-decent job (minus forgetting a hill towards the end of the ride).
Regardless, the animation is the result of the contest that Hershey did (basically "make us a free animation and we'll give you a park ticket and seat on the first Skyrush train"), which this guy won.
