Could someone please translate? What in the world did ice4one1 post?
Although I can write like an uneducated fool, I cannot translate the words of another uneducated fool.
Mini Scrambler? Why would they need a "mini scrambler". The Scrambler / Mini Mixer that they currently have is so tamed down that it could be classified as a kids ride more than an adult ride.
Some of Comet Rider's comments make sense (like the ones on height requirements... or lack there of... and Cyclops and Conestoga leaving... but that has been "rumored" for the past few years), but some also sound like "guesses". Personally, put me in the "I'll believe it when I see it" category.
I tend to agree with Ice4one1's comments on the situation (and I did not find it too hard to follow!). Also, good comment about "not going hyper yet doesn't mean they can't". The heights of wood coasters have been mentioned as all being under 100 feet. Some parks are just more concerned with quality rides (like WC and LR) than overblown record breakers.

Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

Besides, Hershey wants to stay as much of a family park as possible.
I didn't realize LR was that tiny!
I don't understand how heights of rides cooresponds to "familyness" of a park.

Line jumping is cause for removal from soceity.
What would be so bad about seeing an Impulse at every park? The rides are outstanding, certainly an improvement over any older shuttle coasters. Even the capacity isn't terrible, all things considered.
I'm all for the Impulse becoming this decade's "boomerang," provided some of the reliability issues that have plagued these models in the past have been solved.

okay bs13 yes Hershey Park is family orientated just as most parks are. However by your post you would think Hershey Park was Dutch Wonderland Or Bushkill park(easton ,pa). Parks for the most part want to please the entire family bs13,thats where the money is. A parks number one goal is to make money and stay in buisness. By having a family atmosphere with thrill rides you will attract more people. True Hershey park has no millenium force or power tower but neither do a lot of parks. Does that make them weak family parks. Of course there are always exceptions to this rule such as SFGA but even cedarpoint is family friendly. . . . .Hp is Pa's Biggest and most popular park. I really doubt they care what you "think" of them.
Flying Skooter? IM SO THERE!
Thanks for making my decision on next years trip for me.
Chuck, who is going to snap em even if it dose get E stopped. If you won't allow a ride to run like it's capable of, Why build it capable of it? (PKD)

As for being the right thread to comment in, you may want to check who started the thread!
Bottom line ice4one1 I meant no disrespect. I truly do not understand what your original post says.

Hate to jump in here because I've never been to Hershey but I felt that I had to point out to ice4one1 & SFLAKE that having a coaster name in your user name doesn't mean anything either way.
I can see what you guys are alluding to, but a perfect example to defeat that logic would be Holiday World's very own Raven Maven.

I haven't heard anything about "Afterburner, er, Revolution" ... but one can only hope. I've been hoping a park would get one of these things since Sept 2000 (my first ride on Wild Claw at the York Fair).
Just a question though... why the "hope" that Conestoga would find a new life at SFA? If that's just "Wishful Thinking", then okay. However, if it's not, then what is it based on?
