Hershey & Kennywood hotel suggestions?

I'll third Gonch's suggestion, the Waterfront Courtyard is great - ask for a river view room, top floor.

As far as Hershey goes there's a very nice/new and imho rather pricey Hampton Inn on Chocolate Ave. Right across the street is the Hershey Pantry where once you eat there you'll be back for every other meal the rest of your stay. Awesome food. Otherwise there's the Hershey Lodge, or 4-star is The Hotel Hershey.

Sorta off-topic but sorta on-topic, does anyone know of any discounts to Hershey? There's only eight of us going, so we can't qualify for a group price, but I'm sure some place has discount coupons or something. I'm just not sure where to look.

Giant grocery stores have a special for tickets for $34.99 and when you buy at least 2 you get a free parking pass. That offer is good until June 30. They always have the discount tickets.

Sweet. I'll have to look for those stores when we get into the area.

^ Route 39 about 2 miles west of the park is the closest. That's cool about the parking pass too.
