Not to get off the subject, BUT to add to R. Hutchinson's post, I would love to see a GCI. Wouldn't a GCI take up less space than a CCI?? Please, correct me if I am wrong here. I realize GCI can build large woodies (BGT), but Roar and the Wildcat do not take a large area. How many CCI's can fit where Roar sits at SFA??
Overall, are we narrowing the topic down? Is it the engineering and structure of the Giant that makes it less rough than Mean Streak? Is that where this discussion is going?

Is it a question of ride quality? My understanding was that Cedar Fair execs didn't like the maintenance involved in wooden coasters, good or bad, and that's why they didn't fancy building more wood coasters at their parks.
