Hercules @ Dorney Park - any

I rode Thunderhawk on two different visits and found two totally different coasters.

'01 BORING! :(

Chuck, who also found Herc braked to death on is 01 visit but the second half was boring either way.

Will we make it? Row, Row, Row your coaster! boring.

I can't say that I've ever had a boring ride on Thunderhawk but there are times when the second half of the ride is pretty uneventful. Things would be so much better without that trim on the speed hills.

I really like Thunderhawk. Those trims at the end are a minor killing. That ending would put the ride over the top at full speed.

Still a great ride with them, but I imagine a great ride with a 'wow' run to the station without them.

As far as Herc, it gave horrible rides, it gave bad rides, it gave 'meh' rides, but I never got a good or even decent ride.

The first time I rode, I was alarmed at how slow it got at points and the general feeling of, "Oh man, this thing is going to stall"

The last ride I got on Herc was with my daughter - just the two of us in the front seat of an empty train - so that was cool...even for Hercules.

I think that Thunderhawk would have a run back to the station similar to that of the Phoenix if that trim brake didn't kill all the fun. Of course, having the coaster's original station returned would also be a plus!

I remember the last turn of Hercules being particularly bad. It was banked for a lot of speed but the way the train crawled around the turn meant that everyone slid to the right because there were no forces whatsoever to keep them in position. Thinking about it now, it was pretty humorous.

My single ride on Thunderhawk was pretty boring, and I was really looking forward to a fun, snappy ride like Blue Streak has been running in past years. Maybe I just caught it on a bad day.
On good days, those two rides can be very much alike.
Thunderhawk can be like night and day. Sometimes its an awsome other times it can feel watered down. The breaks play a major role in the ride. I also notice year after year i always get a better ride in the begining of the season, that could just me though.
It's probably not. Some coasters run better early in the season if they received major offseason work. I've always founf Thunderhawk to run fairly consistently but I don't frequent the park on a regular basis. I know I always get slammed around in the middle of the ride and disappointed at the end!
