I’m heading to a conference in Chicago Mid-August. It ends Saturday the 17th and I intend on visiting SFGAdv on the 18th, Cedar Point on the 19th and SFWoA on the 20th. I had planned to head down to PKI afterwards but I noticed on their site that Aug. 21 was a "limited operating day". Has anyone been on a limited operating day and would it be worth it to head down there on such a day?
most all major attractions are open on limited days. Some flat rides open later in the day about 5-6pm after school is out.

Americana is opening in 2002 and needs your support as many company picnics are already schedualed for someplace else, Indivdual visits are very improtant to the parks survival.
On limited operating days most kiddie land attractions will be closed most of the day along with a lot of flat rides. Probally the only coasters closed would be other than some of the kiddie ones maybe one side of the racer, adventure express, well thats all I would think. It would be worth it to go just because there won't be to many people there.
