help with rct2

HI, can someone help me? I have a win. XP computer and when I try to run rct2 it reads the cd then does NOTHING can anyone help? is there a patch I can download?please help?

I to have an XP machine. First try to see if there are any hardware update patches for your video card or soundcard. I have had problems like this with other programs, and I updated my drivers and the programs worked correctly.

try reinserting the disk. if that doesn't work, then go to start, run, and then type rct2. then see if it runs...

Sounds like it's your CD-ROM's fault. The stupid copy protection screws it up on some drives. On mine, sometimes when I eject the CD, it causes Windows to not recognize my ROM or RW. Stupid copy protection. Why bother when hackers will crack it in a week anyways?
