HELP with no limits and XP??

I downloaded no limits when it was first released and used it with my current operating system at that time which was Windows ME. I recently have upgraded to XP and now when I try to run No Limits in simulation mode it runs incredibly slow. I tried to ride a rollercoaster then and it won't move since the frame rate is at zero fps and when you move the mouse it makes the view jump all over the screen and it is very slow. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. I haven't been able to play the game in over a week and I would love to be able to play again. Thanks a lot.

You probably need to get the latest video card drivers... Now, if your next question is "Where do I get them?" check you're video card's manual. It should give you at least the company's website, which should have them.

the game wouldn't even run if he didn't ahve OpenGL. He'd get a nice error box with a bunch of computer garble. You probaly don't have XP certified drivers. Just update those and you should be fine.

Hey guys, Thanks so much for the help so far. I have a g-force 3 graphics card so I know it's not the graphics card that is the problem. I have not downloaded the XP certified drivers though. Do you know where to go to get those? I also know it's not my computer because it is a brand new Dell Pentium 4 2.0ghz computer and No Limits ran perfectly before I upgraded to XP. If you guys have any other suggestions please let me know. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

You can either get them from NVIDIA or the windows update site. Last I check the windows update site had a newer version than nvidia did. But I'm not sure if that is still the case. But regardless you are going to notice a bit of a performance hit. The NT kernel that XP uses doesn't handle games quite as well as the 9x kernels did becuase they allowed direct hardware access. XP has a protection layer. I checked and the latest version from NVIDIA is 28.32. That the latest version available and does work for me.

I downloaded that driver from the microcrap site and it made my Gforce 3 card run like crap. I went to the maker of my video card which is from Abit Siluro and now it runs a heck of alot better. Go to the manufactur's site and download the drivers.

1) millennium force

I have XP Pro and No Limits runs fine with it. If the demo works on your computer I would think the full version will work fine. If not you can try running it in compatibilty mode for 95, 98, 2000, etc.
