Help with a CP Trip

Hello all-knowing coasterbuzz members. Especially those who call Cedar Point Home. I am planning a trip from NJ next week from Tuesday the 12th to Thursday the 15th. Because CP is about 9-10 hours from home, we will only have one day in the park. However, we are going to leave early and try to get to the park for Starlight entrance on the 12th. Some questions:

I've heard there are coupons (buy one get one free) for starlight entrance. Where can I get these?

We are staying at Breaker's express, but with 5 people in a 4 person room (don't tell). Will this be a problem when we go to enter the park early?

Which rides should we try to get on during the early admission? When is the best time to get in line for TDD?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. We are all very excited about this trip.

If your going the night before I would go and wait for TTD. Just get on it and get it out of the way. Where in NJ you coming from? I made the trip 3 weeks ago.

I think getting the early admission passes will be a challenge because if you reserved a room for 4 people, they can only give you four early-enterance passes... not 5...

We're coming from Moorestown - Burlington County. I'm estimating the driving time... do you know how long it takes from say... Philly?

Rctycoon2k... so they give you as separate pass for each person, depending on the number of people that should be in your room?

Funny!I am from Cinnaminson!! HAHA! I drove to Warminster which is 40 mins away from C-Town then it took us 8 hours to get there. Hope you have fun!

When I was at CP in May I stayed at the Breakers Hotel in a room for two, and my sister was coming from Cleveland and they gave me three early entry passes.

I would also suggest going to the back entrance, near TDD, for early entry. Not as many people and closer to the rides.

Also, you can get in line for a ride at 9:59 if they close at 10, so plan on one last ride the night before if you want. They are great about that.

I have a season pass. I got it at Dorney Park cause its good at Dorney. I guess search the web for whatever you can find. ITs worth it. Try and hit SFWOA why you are out there its a pretty nice SF. Nicer than ours if you ask me. We have better coasters. They have a cleaner park!

As advertised in my TR colum, the coupons for B-1-G-1-F Starlight tickets are from the CP Getaway Guide. If you call 1-800-BESTFUN, they should mail you a free copy. Unfortunately, I believe I read something about the Getaway guide not being sent after July, so I can't garantee anything. Still, try it and see what happens.

I just drove from CP to good old New Jersey myself. My brothers and I managed from Sandusky to Philly in only eight and a half hours. Of course, we know the route pretty well, and we only stopped to change drivers. Add even more time if you think you might encounter Traffic on the Schuykill (if you even have to drive it from where you're coming from).
