Help w/ SFAW

Hey, my girl and I are planning on hitting up Astroworld/Waterworld and I just have a few questions:

Does Astroworld offer any combo ticket prices, and if so, how much?

Any discounts for buying tix to both parks?

Is Thursday a bad day to go?

Any tips on how to tackle the park? I haven't been since Batman opened way back in the early 90's...

thanks for any help!

The two parks are under one gate. No seperate admission.

Which is what he would have discovered by not being lazy and going to the park's website.
You can get tickets half off at Kroger's for $22.72 a piece.

"All of our parties at CCI were so...sedate," said Dinn this afternoon. "Wine, appetizers, some jazz. But this Stan Checketts guy...wow, those S&S dudes can party their asses off. Out of control."

Actually, Moosh-it doesn't say that. They both have different websites and the ticket prices that are listed on each page are noted for that particular park. I didn't find any place on the site that said one ticket offered for both parks. Hence-why I came here for info...

Thanks bigboy for the info.

No, Splashtown, the *other* Six Flags-owned waterpark in Houston, has it's own website and a separate admission. WaterWorld is part of the Astroworld website, here's the proof:

http://www.sixflags.com/parks/astroworld/Rides/water.html

OMG...what's the first paragraph? Let's all read together:

"Did you know that admission into WaterWorld is FREE with your Six Flags AstroWorld one-day admission ticket or season pass? Enjoy one huge, Texas-sized theme park with double the action and double the value!"

I never said the Six Flags website were easy to navigate...they're not. But the info is there if you spend a few minutes looking around.

Wow, you'd think they'd put that under park info. When I saw the water park for Splashtown-I assumed, wrongly, that they had changed the name of the water park attatched.

I'll go back to eating my words.

Astroworld is basically one big circle, so you can attack it from either direction. Except for some new paint jobs, I doubt the park has changed much for you except for the additions of Serial Thriller (SLC), Dugeon Drop, Diablo Falls and Swat.

No worries, slowmotion. I'm not trying to slap you down or anything...we all know SF's websites suck. And to be honest I was initially confused by the second waterpark, too.

At least you tried the website...many others would have just asked without trying.

You can also buy online and print $25 Astroworld tickets from Six Flags's website.

Thursday is as good a time as any. I highly recommend checking out the Circo Magnifico show.

Thursday is a wonderful day to go. You will mostly walk onto everything. I would tackle the park starting the circle to the left. It is what most people do, but the only 3 rides that may form any sort of a line, is Serial Thriller, Myan Mindbender, and SWAT. All of those are to the left, however on a Thursday, you are likely not to run in to any problems at all.

The Circus show, is gettting good reviews. Check it out.
