Help please

"Bubbler" is (as far as I know) a strictly Southern Wisconsin thing, specifically Madison and Milwaukee. "Soda" also tends to be used in these areas also. I don't know about Northeastern Wisconsin, but it's definitely "pop" where I grew up (Northwestern WI).

As for Wisconsin being in the midwest or not, well, I suppose that depends on where you're from. To me, Wisconsin epitomizes the midwest. I guess it's all about where you're from.

OK...can I rant for a second? Does anyone else think it's rude to ask for help and then, once it is given, not respond with a simple thank you?

Nice goin, Trish.

Moosh, relax. I totally agree with what you are saying, but take a look at her profile:

Not everybody checks the boards 156 times a day. Maybe she'll have some time to check in on the weekend. ;)

Yes...and her question had been answered almost 7 hours earlier. But if I'm being harsh then I offer her my apologies.
No you may be correct. Again, I totally agree with what you said. It's just that the original post was at 2:19PM and her last login was only 4 hours later at which time there was only 3 replies (and out of those 3 only one actually offered advice).

Maybe she is still looking at her options and when she finds the coupons she'll come back to say thanks. But maybe not...

Thanks to everyone who replied.I did log back on a few hours after my post and there was 3 replies, two of which was debating pop, soda, coke or whatever else.I got right back off because of an emergency at my house.I really am not a rude person;but to anyone i offended,I am truly sorry. Thanks again, trish
There ya go!

No problem at all Trish. I know where Moosh is coming from as it happens quite often. I just had a feeling that you would be back when you had time, that's why I said something.

Sorry I couldn't help though. Somebody mentioned the gas receipt discount. I would call the park on that one because I thought that promotion was good all year long (but it may have been for a month or something). Basically if you bring a gas receipt (any gas receipt!) you get $15 off admission for up to 6 people.

Thanks Mr.X. I will call the park before we go. Trish

Thanks Trish. My apologies for jumping the gun and my condolences on the household emergency ;)

mOOSH

What is the exact date that y'all are going to be there? I believe that the gas receipt deal is over, and from what I heard it was only good for little less than a month. If you know someone with a season pass that lives in the area than you can get in for about $25. I have a season pass, but the next time I'm going will be the 24th.

18 wheels, and they all missed
Thanks Lord Gonchar that is awsome, never seen anything like that. Coasterdude 318, by looking at the map I can see why our two views vary so much in just one state. Very interesting though.

Pop vs Soda

Kinda neat.

KINDA neat? AWESOME! This is exactly the reason travelling is SO cool. Regional differences are one of the biggest assets our country (ummm, the US) has. As long as we remember that "our way" isn't a MORAL choice, we can make the country, and the world, better by EMBRACING the variety...diversity! :)

P.S. Those of you in the green area closest to the East Coast....you ARE Midwesterners....ROFL! :)

Whatever Gator.

My religion forbids anyone from using "Coke" or "Pop." If you say those, you're going to hell. *** Edited 7/16/2006 3:25:14 AM UTC by ApolloAndy***
