HELP! Planning East coast(er) trip...

Help!

I need your opinions...I am planning on making a trip to the east coast for a long weekend in July to hit at least two parks. What do you reccomend?

1) SFGAdv (I was there 2 yrs ago) and SFA
2) SFGAdv (I was there 2 yrs ago) and SFNE
3) SFA and BGW

Any other ideas of two parks close to each other (with an airport nearby)?

Choice 1. The best hyper (Nitro) the flyer......plus...lapbars on chiller.

Since you were to SFGAdv 2 years ago, I'd probably take a pass. My suggestion would be PKD and BGW.

PKD and BGW does sound like a great combination. They are two of my favorite parks. Although the only other one on your list that I've been to is SFA, I would have to say that PKD and BGW is your best bet, since you've been to one of the parks on your two other choices. Plus I'd take PKD over SFA anyday. Granted SFA is a good park, I just like PKD a little better.

Ok, PKD is noted, I forgot that one...

And PKD and SFA is also a good pairing, since if I decide on going there, I'll get a season pass from PKI when CB has their outing. That plus my SFGAm SP, I'll be set!

I did the SFGAdv/SFNE tour last year and had a blast! That would be my choice, especially with Nitro and Superman being the centerpiece of the trip.

Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags America 2 Hypers, 3 Launched, 2 Inverted so thats your best way to go.

Just a point of interest. Dorney is only 85 miles from SFGAdv.

Maybe a trip to Dorney?

Another point: Knoebel's and Hershey are only about an hour from Dorney (Assuming you drive like me :) )

I'm not sure how many days your long weekend gives you, but there's some other options to consider.

Why is SFNE being ignored?? Dont forget it has the Best hyper around..[#1 Park world} it blows the other SROS hypers away..and some say it has it over Nitro even, and the new Floorless. anyway go to SFGADV and SFNE.

you could go yo SFGAdv and SFNE and stop at Canobie Lake Park which is very close to SFNE. also Logan airport in Boston is like 10 mins from canobie and like 30-40 mins from SFNE

so pick 2.......

Depending on how long a "weekend" you're talking, starting at BGW and working your way up would be pretty simple.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Hershey. There are so many great parks in a limited area. Why don't you take a week and hit a bunch?

I'm gonna have to go with "sfne guy" on this one. SROS should not be over looked. If your in the neighborhood, visit SFNE and SROS. Its to good to pass up.

SFGAdv is my home park, so I might be a little biased...but I think you need to experience Nitro, because it is amazing. So if you hit GAdv and SFNE, it will be a great trip. I went to SFNE last summer and had a lot of fun, and I didn't even get to ride everything. You're talking about two floorless coasters, two hypers, and if things go our way, two drop tower rides.

It's just the fact that I am on a limited budget both in cash and vacation time. I was figuring that I could afford airfare, rental car, and three nights worth of lodging (4 day weekend)which would only cost me two vacation days. I could probably add one more day but that would be my max.

Ummm, I mentioned Hershey, Jim... :)

Being somewhat "local" to the area the *best* plan would be to hit SFGAdv and HersheyPark. That way you could ride the best steel coasters in the area (NITRO, Chiller, Medusa) and the best wooden coasters in the area (Wildcat and Lightning Racers). That would be *my* suggestion.
But based on your choices above I guess I'd pick #2 just cause I've heard S:ROS@SFNE rocks.

You can't miss SFNE. It might aggravate you a little or maybe even alot, but you're gonna love it!
