Help on kings island trip.

I hope one of you could help me out.

We are going to kings island this weekend for opening day. We want to spend one day at pki(sat), and one day at another park(sun). The problem that I am having is finding a park near pki that is open this weekend. Does anyone know of another park that is a 2 hour or less drive from pki?

We did kk last year and do not wish to return there again.

Any help would be great.....thanks.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Go to http://www.rcdb.com

Type "King's Island" in the Quick Search box - Hit Go

Click on Paramount's King's Island

It will say "Parks nearby" click on the "Existing" link

There you go - It will rate them by distance on how close they are from PKI.

Hope this helps!

Kennywood Team Member Since 2003 Kennywood is CLOSED
Not really many other options besides Kentucky Kingdom at this time of year.
I did Dollywood one day and PKI the next. It is a lot further than 2 hours, but Dollywood closes early and you can leave earlier than that and make the drive in the evening. The only thing is you have to do Dollywood first because you would have to leave PKI too soon to make that drive. Trust me, it is totally worth it. *** Edited 4/7/2005 1:09:48 AM UTC by RavenTTD***

Check out the positive feedback for SFKK in the trip report section. It is worth it, it is about 2 hours from pki. Instead of taking I71 south through cincy i know of a shortcut to take depending on where you will stay the night before.

Its just not a park we want to visit two years in a row. Its more like a "every 4-5 year" park.

I would if they were open this weekend. Holiday world is near the top of my "have to do" parks list.
