I was thinking about applying for a job at Sixflags Great Adventure for the 2002 season.I live about 40mins from them but there is a bus that takes workers there which is about 5mins over a brige from my house. I was thinking about taking the summer off from summer school if i get a job there. Im 16years old now and i wanted to know if i can work with rides at that age? also how dose the job work? smaller rides at first till i have worked there for a time? is there any test that need to be taken? any information anyone has for me would greatly help me decide if i want to apply for work there for the 2002 season or if i wanna wait till 2003 thank .
Well, if you need summer school, that is where you should be. There is plenty of time to work at the park on weekends through October. Its only minimum wage. While in NJ you can assist on the rides, you probably would be placed in games or f/b.
