Help me with trip

I am planning a trip to Cedar Point and Six Flags Great America. I would like to go to one in june (early-mid june) and the other in August(mid-late august). But would like to go to the one that would be better in june than in august. Like which place is busier in august then the other. I think i should go to Cedar Point in june because it likely not to be to busy than it is in june. Sfgram i don't think is termenisly busy in aug. I'm having trouble deciding. Plus when u think hotels are cheaper for both places. Not really know any around Cedar Point area, i know the ones around sfgram.

Both are packed in August before the kiddies go back to school, June is also busy but not as busy as August.

CP handles crowds better then GAM however, and if I had to pick I would go with GAM in June and CP in August.

My friend went to Cedar Point in mid August last year and was able to get on every ride. Thats was a weekday though.

SFGAm last year the one time I went in June (Sun approx. 21 of the month) I only had to wait more then a half hour for Deja Vu. CP well, if at all possible I would advise you to do in two days, we went in a weekday in July the first time we went and even failed to do 12 coasters in one day. I would go for CP in June because the GP at CP are more savy and there is no way to beat them in Aug, I would prefer CP with less crowds.

If you do SFGAm right (start at Batman first, then V2, Iron Wolf, American Eagle, Demon, Bull, Viper) you can score a less then 1/2 hr wait on allmost all rides but S:UF, which since you skipped at the begining you would have to wait 2+hrs that is unless you buy a fast pass. If that is the case then you should start in SW territory and then work the circut the other way. If you do this you can out smart the GP there and get everything done in a reasonable time frame.

I would go to cedar point in august if you are going to go around the 26, but otherwise I'm not sure. In one and a half days last Year I got in about 40 rides :D hopefully its like that when I go on may 20-21

All I've got to add to this is: Avoid both of these parks on summer weekends, especially Saturday.
