Riddler's Revenge: Back (or Front)

Actually, I am totally opinionated to say RR is best in the middle of the train.
Back and front can get a little hard on knees and crotch if you ask me - but in the middle it just floats like nothing on this planet. Damn I could ride this thing all day!

well, i am a ride operator for X, and before X i was at Deja Vu. we all got transfered because it closed. Deja Vu sent its last train at about 1130 pm on june 23, 2003. we were all kind of bumed because i mean, this was our ride and it was closing. Unfortunatley, like the other guy said, if you look over the gate where the Psyclone transfer track is, youll find the frame of the train with attached wheels...but no seats, those are in the back at Cycle Shop. Deja Vu wont be open till march, and with our new budjet that kicks in in January, were shooting for Febuary. The order has been placed for a new train, and i cant really tell you much, but its not a Vekoma train. Those Netherland bastards that built us a ****ty ride wanted to send us a train by the end of the summer. Anywho, yes, Superman wont be open till febuary also. I dont really know why. Every morning at 8 am before we get to our ride, we see some mechanics and some of the park supervisors on a morning run:( And they have their hands up and screaming...pisses us off..but oh well. Well, if you guys have any questions, fell free to email me at Civicmahem2345@hotmai.com. I'll answer any questions you may have about the park or X and Deja Vu. my name is Jonathan, and this sites pretty awesome, peace.

P.S You guys can IM me at Iuvsnatchnboobs on AIM.

ToDarnLongatX,

Joseph would say LOL to your last sentence, but I gotta go one step further and say Baahahahahaha to your AIM name.

Brian that is hilarious because I was actually going to say that's the funniest AIM name ever.

You read my mind!

OMG I have a new sig!!!
So what is wrong with Deja Vu?

And Superman is Closed entirely or just one side?

what would be the best day sunday or monday (my day choice changed)

Do you think X will be open on sunday or monday?

I actually think the back of X is by far the best seat. The visuals up front did nothing for me, and the only part of the ride that really did it for me was the first drop. In the back you get some pretty fiesty air while facing straight down a 200' drop, which, honestly, isn't something you can find anywhere else. There's also a cool little pop of air going into the first 1/2 & 1/2.

As has been said, Superman will more than likely not be running and Deja Vu won't be running. Superman is (well has) been sitting up on top of the hill nice and quiet. The problem with Deja Vu is there's a all around it. That's probably the best answer you'll get anywhere.

Get to X first thing. Personally, it's a rough and overrated ride, but you'll want to knock it off the list and the queue gets insanely huge, especially with one train which tends to be the norm.

hmm...one train days are the shiznick for us...after we dispatch to lift, we have about ohh say, about 3 minutes to contemplate on the days problems or make fun of someone in the que line...but whatever, oh, there was nothing REALLY wrong with Deja Vu. the cable system that pulls the train up the two towers was about ready to snap and we needed to replace that. then we also ordered a new train and were getting all that in febuary. so expect it in march, and superman is down both sides. its really not broken or anything, its just that OSHA came and inspected and our mechanics are crack heads and they dont do anything right and Superman got shut down. and the best day to go is monday, not a soul in the park, wich is awesome. hope i helped.
I realize why3289 has probably had his/her SFMM trip, but since the SFMM Help threads seem so frequent, I thought this might be of some help.

My roomate who runs a bar just got the employee discount mailer for his staff. If I'm not mistaken this is probably the same promo stuff places like grocery stores get. Anyway, there is no photo of X. Speculate as you will, my guess is she's in for some TLC.

I didnt understand a word this man said...
He said that in accordance with the terror alert system, X may be getting overhauled next year.
noooooooooo I want to ride X when I visit L.A. this summer.
They can't shut down X just because of diffuse terror threats, can they?
I mean, terrorists are more likely to blow up a major city with an atomic bomb than to make a ride like X derail, aren't they?

;) ;( ;)

Man... if someone sees a Superman key chain on a sidewalk near a park, then that park MUST be getting a Superman-themed coaster next year.

They probably did not include X in the promo because there was so much turmoil when X was closed for all of 2001. (well, all but 2 weeks.) Don't get your panties in a wad.
