Haven't been to the buffet's at Bellagio, Ceasars or Harrahs. I've always wanted to try Emerills at MGM tho.

By far our favotie is Main Street Station's Buffet. The prime rib is to die for.

If you like motion simulators, The Star Trek Experience at the Hilton is not to be missed. Race to Atlantis is very good also (it is at Caesar's--right next to the Cheesecake Factory). Also, Madame Trussand(sp)'s waz musuem at the Venetian is awesome. There are also some decent motion simulators there as well. Have fun!
CPLady, we did not eat the buffets at Bellagio or Caeser's. We ate at regular restaurants. The one at Bellagio was the only one there we could eat in wearing shorts and T-shirts. :)

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.

I know I chimed in over at URC, but since food seems to be a rather important topic here, I thought I'd mention my favorite place for breakfast. Unfortunately, it's located downtown. The "Bay City Diner" at the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino (which is Las Vegas' oldest original hotel) offers up incredibly delicious breakfasts at very low prices. Their hash browns are very "Waffle House"-esque and their menu is pretty varied. They also offer other good deals for lunch and dinner, including a 16 oz. T-bone steak dinner with potato, vegetable, and salad for just $8.99. It's not the best steak you'll ever eat, but for the price it's a great deal. In a separate area of the casino (which is very small), they have the San Francisco Deli, where they offer 99-cent Shrimp Cocktails and fresh deli sandwiches for reasonable prices. The Shrimp Cocktails are extremely popular.... for reasons I'll never understand!

Rio's "Carnival World Buffet" is one of those places where if you can't find something you like, there is definitely something wrong. However, as mentioned above, the quality isn't as good as it once was. Their dessert bar however has remained unchanged. They have just about every type of dessert you can imagine- from cheesecakes and creme puffs, to pies and cookies. I wish they'd allow you to just go in for desserts!

Downtown Vegas has a ton of places to eat... many of which have very low prices for a very filling dinner. Binion's Horseshoe has excellent burgers served at their 24-hour snack counter, Lady Luck has decent food at their 3rd Street Grille, the Golden Nugget has a very good (and popular) buffet, and the Las Vegas Club gives you a free Prime Rib dinner for earning 1000 points on your slot card (I earned that in about 5 hours playing nickel slots!). With you staying at the Stratosphere, you're only a mile or so away from Fremont Street via cab. Walking there is NOT a good idea! :)
