Help beating Amity Airfield

I'm having trouble beating Amity Airfield, i've only got 500 guests in August Year 2. (I need 3000 guests by Year 4). I'm out of money. I have a vertical drop coaster, impulse, s&s tower, and ferris wheel. I'm not making any money. How much should I make admission? Any tips? Thanks

I had a problem with cash the first few times I tried this level. When I beat it, the first thing I did was dig up everything. This means the benches, lights, and paths. When you do this first, then you will have a ton of money, and you can design the park any way you want. I also recomend keeping the park small and in a tight loop so none of the guests wander off and get boerd. Then they won't want to ride anything.

Try Flight of Fear version 2.0: It's great!

I didn't beat it my first try. My biggest mistake was single wide paths at first and they got insanely crowded. For money, can't you get refunds on scenery sometimes? Just delete that runway path.

Why not download a clocked scenario?

I'm sorry, what the heck is a clocked scenario?

Other people on sites already beat the level, you download it, wait a few seconds, and you win!

That seems pointless to me. You pay $20-$30 dollars to buy the game, and then don't even play it. Maybe another reason it's pointless is because once you win a scenario, you still don't get anything new. If I'm stuck on a scenario, I go play another one to polish my "skills" before attempting it again. Well- now that I'm done rambling, I always advertise. Advertise, Advertise, Advertise. Believe me, advertising does more than you think. If you've got your entry fee set at $30-$45, and you get 150 new guests from the advertising- you do the math. I hope this helps, MarimbaGuy87

Marimbas are neat. Coasters are neater.

Yeah. I just beat it yesterday on the second try without selling extra scenery, and the key was really advertising.

Early on, don't worry about building big coasters. Just get them in there with good capacity and small layouts. Peeps won't really care that the rides are short.

Make sure your entrance fee reflects the quality of your park. I usually bump it up $5 when I put in a coaster. $1 when I put in a flat or other attraction. I never go above $45 or $50.

Once you get your park going decently, (an SLC, an inverted mouse, a suspended) just advertise the heck out of it and pay off your loan. Paying off the loan early is HUGE as you can spend up to $150 a month on loan payments without even realizing it. Also, keep the research and the staffing to a minimum at this phase of the game. There's no sense in having 6 different types of coasters waiting to be built when you don't have the money to build any of them (or keeping your park really clean if no one's coming in the gates). Similarly, keep the food and merchandise stalls to a minimum. If people really want 'em, they'll find 'em and it costs too much to put one at every corner.

Once you have your loan paid off, keep advertising like mad, but do whatever else you want. At this point you should be getting enough $ to do build two or three big coasters / year.

Oh, another thought. Early on, build wide paths. Crowding can become a big problem later on, and it sucks if your main entrance plaza is all single wide paths and you don't have room to widen them.

Finally, if you really want a save of a game right before winning, I can send you mine.
