Help!!!

Ok. I downloaded the Swiss army knife trainer for loopy landscapes. The game worked fine for about a
week and know when i put tthe disc in it works for like 2 minutes and then it shuts of an says something like ineccsessible files or data courupted. What do i do??????/

First you check the CoasterBuzz FAQ about non-descriptive topic titles. Then, you uninstall and reinstall RCT, you won't lose any scenarios or track files.

i already uninstalled and and reinstalled it and nothing changed. It still says the same crap.

Arrrgghh!! Nothing is working. Does anyone else no what I can do?!!??!

contact support won't help you since you used a trainer which is in no way associated hasbro. Kind of sucks don't it.

If there is corrupted files, uninstall the game. Then, delete everything left over in the RCT directory. From there, reinstall. You will lose everything, but thats part of the trainer game. You might win, you might lose.

it doesnt work Trbiggar. It still says data files corrupted or inaccsessible.

Try to install RCT over your files now. Then download the official patch, and then the drexler patch. Then use the trainer.

This would be why I don't use trainers.

ok. I have deleted every single thing that has to do with RCT on my computer. I installed the first RCT and it worked fine.Then i put in the expansion and as always it worked for 2 miinutes and then shuts off and says data files corrupted. Do you think the cd is screwed up or what??

Grrr... I unfortunately know what TimberWolf is talking about... I've got the same problem as you do. I did everything that was suggested above and it still doesn't work.

Timberwolf, I noticed that it only quits the when the simulation is on. If you leave the game on the welcome screen, the park is simulating, and it crashes. However, if you open a park and pause it, it won't crash, until you let it out of pause mode. If you figured out something please let me know ASAP.

Ok...if you have the latest TRG trainer....under one of the menus at the top (around file)....there should be a "clean config" option.  Run this when RCT is NOT running.  Then after it says it has done the task, run RCT and you should be worry free.

 

BTW....TRG includes the Drexler Patch in it....so downloading it again would be pointless =)

Ok, here is the thing.  If you run windows ME, for some reason, you need the patch for LL.  I dunno if that is a help, but I went mad when it happened to me.  I reformatted for other reasons eventually, but the only cure is the patch...  Sorry.  If you have ME that is.  :)

I had this same problem all the time...I'd be in the middle of building an excellent park and BAM! error trapper message would appear.  I hated that so bad but then I discovered that The Beast Trainer works great for me and I have yet to have the error message come up when I use it.  Another good peice of advice, save games a LOT!  If you crash you can go back into them easier.
