I am not going back to Cedar Point until they throw Mean Streak's brakes into lake Erie. There should be a law against killing coasters like Cedar Fair does.

What kind of "forum troubles over there" ?

Thanks for all the replies guys! I think I'm gonna have a good time here. Although the layout of the forums is kinda weird (is there a "view all posts since your last visit" option? I can't find one) but I guess I'll get used to it in time. I have, already, met some really cool people from here and have participated in some discussions. I am enjoying it so far.

The troubles over at GADV is that there were a lot of spamming/flaming/wars..etc.. going on over there. Plus lots of un-necessary / repeating topics and the like. The mods got annoyed and are closing them down tomorrow (11th) for a little while. I do plan on sticking around there as well, but I'll be an active member on both there and here.

P.S. I'm getting closer to booking / finalizing my CoasterMania trip! Yay!!!!!!!

This also has spamming/flaming/wars too. Although for some reason it seems to have died down. Theres also the repeated topics and stupid topics that aren't necessary but still some forums have gotten (i think) like 30+ pgs. There can be a lot of great discussion and it seems like everyone knows each other.

Nope, no "New Topics Since Your Last Visit", because you would have probably around a 100 new topics, you just have to search around.

I guess you'll get that with any message board that isn't controlled by Stalin. :) (Meaning, quite frankly, everyone unless he is seceretly the Mod on a board somewhere). I, personally, don't mind the closing of the forums at GADV.com. I understand it. I am, snicker, really taking a liking to here though.

I am starting to realize that there are A LOT of replies / new topics here in a short period of time which would render that "New Topics..." feature, well, useless.
