A $215-million Hello Kitty theme park celebrating the cute cartoon cat with a cult-like following will open in China in 2014. Construction is expected to begin in July on the 150-acre theme park in China's Zhejiang province, about three hours west of Shanghai, according to China's Xinhua news agency.

Seriously, and I mention this all of the time, I want to visit a Nintendo themed park. Nintendo could make a killing off of licensing fees and selling licensed plushies. I am so amazed that they haven't tried this yet, even just leasing the license to an American park. A lot of kids have Nintendo DS's and Wii's right now.

^^^How about a RCT (Roller Coaster Tycoon) themed park!? Big pincers would come down from the sky, pick you up and drop you in the water, then lift you out, then drop you, then lift you out.
