Height Restrictions on Deja Vu

I was just reading on Six Flags web site that you can't ride Deja Vu if your over 6'4".  This seems really small to me since I know alot of people who are around that height or over it easily.  Will anybody here have a problem with it?

Don't Fight it, Ride it, RAGING BULL!
My Top 5 Coasters:
1. Raging Bull 2.Millenium Force
3. V2 (SFGAm)
4. Viper (SFGAm)
5. Cornball Express /Raptor
I saw that too, Im just about 6'4" and im 17, ive got alot of growing left, i better ride as much as possible while i still can!
At 6'6" I am screwed already since I will never be able to ride it unless I cut off two inches of my legs to fit......
I have been very vocal about this issue (maybe almost to the point of annoyance... :)) I was really looking forward to riding it, but since I'm 6'6", I will have to stand and watch my friend ride this Sunday...Maybe I can marathon Psyclone!
pheewww.....I'm lucky, I'm 6'2" so i can still ride this ride, but i'm 17 so i still have some growing left. But don't all Vekoma Inverts have a maximum hieght of 6'4"?

So I have heard.  Why couldn't they build it like B&M builds their inverts at the station, and make a station that drops out, but deeper?   Perhaps 2 feet for safety?

I know Serial Thriller has a maximum of 80 inches.

I think I'd better wear flat shoes that day.

I'm not sure, but I think that the height limit is accually higher by an inch compared to what it used to be. Today I did look, it said 6'4". I remember that it used to say 6'3", but I was thinking I was just imagining things. Though today when I was visiting my grandma, I asked her if she ever saw the Six Flags website, she said she did, and remembers it being 6'3". Strange, huh? Does anyone else remember it being 6'3", or are me and my grandma just insane?

Hey, SFGAm management, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?
I'm 5'5" (it's because I'm 13) so hopefully I won't get my growth spurt anytime soon! :)

unfortunatly for some of you, I have heard today that it has been lowered even more now to 6'2".

Welp, if I grow another inch then I am screwed (and I'm only 15)!

Can't be 6'2, I might not make it :(. I mean, why do they have that height restriction? I know it can't be because of the floor since the pictures show that the floor does drop. Maybe it's head clearance. Or maybe it has something to do with the restraints. Does anyone have a positive answer?

The height restriction is because of both the floor (it doesn't move, sadly the days of the floor moving is long gone, thus requiring me to pull myself up onto these rides every time!), and also because of the restraint system.

I wouldn't worry about it, unless you are amazingly tall you can still get onto it, the ride operators are usuially worried about other things than your 1-2 inch height difference.

Don't wear big shoes that day, btw.

Guys (and maybe a few tall gals, if there are any here), don't worry, I am sure they will not lower the limit to 6'2", as I said before, I think they accually raised it, but I'm not positive on that. But about the 6'2" thing, I'll send you each a five dollar bill if it is lowered to that. I myself don't see it happening, especially with one about to open to the GP.

There were a few long, very heated discussions on this topic a few months ago. Personally, I think that the manufacturers should start catering to the needs of the customers and realize these kind of restrictions are stupid. Did they really need to make the safety envelope to be 6" smaller than it could have been? I think not.

Ozzfest - June 8 - Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Black Sabbath
Awake Tour- June 15 - Darwin's Waiting Room, Puddle of Mudd, Deftones, Godsmack

When going into the cobra roll, there is a support that looks like it will be a foot chopper like illusion, it looks awfully close, and im willing to bet that this is one of the reasons for a height restriction.
