Many people say that v2 at SFMW is only 150 feet. Many say it is 180. I am pretty sure it is 180 because the speed on V2 is the same as the other V2 and S:UE. So if the speed is the same than the height must be the same as well. All these rides twist the same amount. Well I am thinking that SFMW snuck by the height limit. Has it been risen yet anyways?

i live near sfmw and I think that v2 is 150 ft from station to top, and 170 or 180 to the ground on the non twisted side. I'm not sure about S:UE
V2 at SFMW was built in a sort of trench, if you will. See, they are going form the highest point of land in the park, which is 30 feet higher than where V2 was constructed. V2 is 180 feet, but it is only 150 feet over the highest land.

Yeah, the rule was 150ft from the highest point in the park. The hill is the highest point in the park (where Tasmanian Devil, DinoSphere, etc. are) so they actually had a little room to spare, considering the hill is about 30-40 feet high.
