Height: V2 vs. Deja Vu

Just curious. RCDB claims that that the Deja Vu coasters at Magic Mountain and SFOG are 196 feet, while the one at SFGAm is 175 feet. I believe it's been established that they are all the same height. Vertical Velocity at SFGAm is listed at 185. Now, first of all, which is Deja Vu -- 175 or 196? My guess is the latter, because it appears to me that it is shorter than V2 (Assuming their 185 estimate is correct). Also, why the discrepancy with the different DVs?

Well, first, my high school grammar tells me that it'd be 'former,' but I don't care. :)

I do think that it is 175, and 196 is with terrain at one of the parks. Though it looks smaller than it actually is because the supports on the vertical tower are bigger. I think the same thing happens at Wicked Twister at Cedar Point.

Sorry-- I meant "former" -- and that is a good point about the supports making it look shorter.

Yea there was a thread on this somewhere I dunno about this site, I think it is that height, rcdb isn't perfect, just close.

Great question. The speed listtings of DV and V2 are kind of random too...I don't think V2 goes 70.

i know all V2s are 186ft tall. remember from the SFMW saga about the V2 height, although it was an exact clone of the others, they said its height was 150ft when it wasnt.

im not sure about the delayja valleys though

Deja Vu is not as tall as V2, and V2 is not just 65 mph, it gets up to 73 mph .
