Construction is moving along on Colossos, the new 197-foot tall wooden coaster being built at Germany's Heide-Park. Ten galleries of construction pictures are available, number 10 being the newest. You can also check out a site plan that shows the basic layout of the coaster (click on the "Lageplan der bahn" link).

The coaster will NOT have regular Intamin-trains, it'll have special designed trains for Colossos' high speeds !
The old trains are 2 bench/coach, the new ones 3 bench/coach !
The helix wil be something like Goliath's "Centrifuge Spiral"...alot of G's and a very fast downwards helix !
It's only 1.5 hour driving from where I live!!!!!!!!
If they do decide to replace Intamin's trains with Premier trains this coaster will have very little airtime due to the very tight restraints that Premier trains have. SOB should have airtime on the hill after the 2nd helix, but due to the trains there is very little.
