Is there any other info on this coaster besides the fact that it's an intamin and will be designed by Warren Stengle for 2004?

peace, love, coasters.

The final nail is not in the coffin, but since the original plans got out a while ago (remember the layout drawing?), the chance of this coaster actually being built are getting worse and worse. I wouldn't bet on it being built. Besides, CP has already constructed a coaster higher than the original one in the plans. I bet that would affect things too. I have a question. What about that coaster in Japan ( I think)? Wasn't it suposed to be really big and have the fastest lift, and go through some sort of new ferris wheel?

My Games Section Rating Scale:
1/4-Sucks!
5/7-Average/good
8/9-Great!
10-Perfect (Kick the Sky/Lord Gonchar, lol)

That's only 200 something. And the only "record" is that it's lift is half a degree steeper than any other Intamin.

No records, but one AMAZING looking ride! (I gotta get back there.....!!!)

Peaboys right it's only like 270 feet tall & have a 45.5 degree lift.

The plans that where published where long abondonned at the time of publishing. The giga was later relocated to an other part of the park. Read more about it in the other topic..

The day we start saying "Its only 270 feet tall", is the day I refuse to be an enthusiast. :) ;)

I've found that the best rides around don't break any records. Think about that...

So you've been riding CCI's creations?

If I were an artichoke, I'd give you my heart.

Does anyone still have the layout that was planned for this coaster?
I thought it was cancelled and another tera was planned to be built at a US park. Looks like we know which park that ended up being at.

Actually, I rode Ghostrider yesterday :), but the same could be said for more than just CCI rides. I had Expedition G-Force and SFH's Goliath in mind as well.

A link to the layout pic can be found in the first post in this topic:

Also, speaking of layout, does anyone still have that fake layout picture of Cedar Point's new coaster?

Heres the fake layout. Too bad this wasn't what it was gonna be. I liked that design. Oh well, I'm still happy with what we have.

Wow that sure looks like a great design.
And looking at it, it just might be implemented at a later stage... all they have to do is remove part of the break section and add the track in between.
I mean the coaster all of a sudden makes much more sense compared what it is now.
Of course... CP already has some Intamin megacoasting airtime on MF, but this fake design really rocks!

Oh no we don't, not yet anyway... ;)

He's talking about Cedar Point. Although we cannot be 100% sure that it is 400 ft, we are 99.9% sure and that is what we are going by
