Headaches By Roller Coasters

Look at the differences in those golden era wood coasters, with the ones being built today. The comparables are in the top 5, starting with the Raven. These coasters somewhat reproduce the action of the golden eras coasters, Shivering Timbers even incorporating trick track. Two awesome coasters! As for the "record-breakers" there are many differences height, speed, trains, restraints, and form-fitted hard seats vs. thickly padded upholstered seats (they can get as rough as they want to with these seats). The "old school woodies were built better, and I've never ridden one just once, nor have I ever ridden one I didn't love. I just would like the new ones to "catch up" to them!

You are right, but have you ever checked out an injury analysis sheet on one of these over-sized, "built for records" woodies? People are dealing with it, by not riding them anymore. Parks deal with it by butchering them, or adding awful trim brakes. I just want to see better rides.

The old Arrow loopers have inversions and elements that have too small of a radius. Especially corkscrew turns. In my opinion this is why B&M rocks, huge inversions, with a more natural flow.
I'm addicited to the adrenaline rush, not the advil, motrin, or tylenol rush.

Rock N Roller Coaster-- first lap ever- first launch ever-- word to the wise-- dont ever tilt your head before a launch.
