Spotted track? Sounds like something on Seuss Island at IOA.

In 1985 I saw an aqua blue piece of Vekoma SLC track heading east on I-80 between Denver and Omaha, but I'm not sure where it was headed. Last year I was the first to post about Xcellerator track being at Knotts. I don't know if I was the first enthusiast to see it, but I was the first with the news ;-)

I saw Medusa track pieces heading down 195 to SFGAdv. This was before I was really big into coasters, but I still thought it was pretty cool.

I seen some MF track on its way to CP during the winter of 99

I saw the track for B:DK in SFNE's parking lot during the season and offseason. I touched it...*mouth watering* (See profile pic)
