Have we discussed 'marked' trees at WoA yet?

After rampaging SFWoA twice in the past 3 weeks, did anyone notice the orange and blue marked trees. Location: next to the boardwalk under Batman's corkscrew and in front of Raging Wolf Bobs. If we have discussed this previously, then close this for me. If not, then does anyone have a clue to what they are for? Or should we just "speculate"? (Isn't speculate a 'nicer' word than rumor? It's like saying pre-owned vehicle, instead of used car.) Thanks.

I would guess that they are for the new animal themed adventure ride rumored to be going in next year.

I saw orange markings around trees next to bounty too.

Hmmm, must be removing the trees to put the footings in for a new 1,000 foot coaster that is long enough to connect to the mystery footings at CP..

forgive me, I couldn't resist.

I'd have to agree with James!

That would kick ass
Since Magnum is sinking at CP, they've sold it WoA.
First off the Magnum isn't sinking. The Magnum is my 2nd favorite steel coaster. I think six Flags is talking about a new ride in 2003. Maybe thats where it will go. Theres not alot of room there though!!! Six Flags is trying to compete with cedar point and kings Island in roller coasters and thats what they need to do. It's hard for them right now because they don't have a big coaster yet. The whales will help draw familys but whats there to draw us coaster enthusiast? Yeah the x-flight is fun but it's not tall. They need big steel coaster first, then get a woodie to compete with the son of a beast(great ride).

He was being sarcastic.

Actually it is for Power Tower as after that girl got her face ripped off Cedar Point is now selling it to SFWOA.

No, actually, they are replacing Mr. Hyde's Nasty Fall with Demon Drop, because SFWoA wants one where the cars will fly off, and hit their ticket booths ;)

Yeah and i heard they went and got Millie's 4th train out of Sandusky Bay and put it on Raging Wolf Bobs.

So terrible about that first train ride on Millie with the green train when it as going so fast it flew right off the track and into the bay. Of course they overbanked the turns now and that fixed the problem. But those 36 poor people who drowned because they were stuck in their restraints, that is just so sad.

Its not hard for the park to draw people in with their coasters. There problem is the bad service guests experienced the past two years...thats their problem.

They have 10 good rides they can market. No, they don't NEED to compete with Kings Island... CP are their only rivals. They don't nessessarally NEED a large coaster to draw in guests.

Look for the planned Rainforest and Volcano to fill this area of trees in the future. Perhaps a Mad Mouse in the area too

I am not sure if you've been to the park yet this year John, but customer service is at par with CP if not better this year. I'll keep my final judgement for the end of the season though.

It's gonna be a big year for WoA next year.

Yeah, haven't heard any complaints from the park so far this year. Hopefully they are finally putting some things together. I'll tell you this, I wouldn't bet against SFWOA getting a coaster next year.
210 footer approved for a part of the park in Bainbridge Township!

Uh........I see, I guess I'll stick to the orginal plan of shutting the hell up about these things. LOL! Staying on the orginal topic is difficult enough.

1) I agree with B&M about customer service is exceptional this year, but capacity is still the normal WoA. 2) With the news of a new coaster, we can all just wait and figure it out when it hits the newstands. 3) The only small task that I want the new coaster to employ is a huge sweeping turn over the Lake. Is that too much to ask?
