Haunted Swings..where are they?

Villa Volta at Efteling has one of the most heavily themed "Haunted Swings" ever done:

"Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it"

Drayton Manor UK, also has a haunted swing called 'The Haunting'. I personally don't like it, but saying that I hated Hex at Alton Towers too and it has had a lot of good ratings on alot of the theme park websites I have visited.

'The Haunting' is based around a haunted house. Before you actually get too ride the swing itself guests are treated to some 'special effects'. A kid of 5 might be a little scared by these but I certainly wasn't. Saying this the ride made a nice addition to the DM line up and showed the park caters for all. It also had a better story than Hex, though people seem to prefer the AT version because it is in the real towers which is cool I know, and is supposed to be loosely based around a true myth (about some tree I think, I can't remember I wasn't paying much attention).

I'm fairly certain Southport Pleasureland has just opened up its own version of BPB's Impossible called 'Abdullhas Dilema'. It also combines a mirror maze like the one in Blackpool.

Does Drayton Manor have haunted swings?

BaSS - I heard that Silverwood may be getting some next year if they can keep all the Irish Agnostics out of the park.

I came *thisclose* to taking the Michigan Lake Ferry to SFGAdv to ride their Vekoma Haunted Swing on Irish Agnostic Day...talk about a close call!

Michigan Lake? Did you fail geography Mooshie? ;)

The state is named after the lake, not the other way around.

I hear Paul Ruben is a 'haunted swinger.'
This other night, we were rocking the pool orgy so hard, it started to swing like a Vekoma Mad House.

If this Mad House is a-rockin', Ruben's t*tties are a-knockin'.
Can I sue chris for unsettling mental images?

Does anyone have a pic of a Haunted Swing ride?

If you haven't rode Raging Bull in the back row you haven't lived. The feeling on that first drop cannot be explained in words!

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me find a Haunted Swing ride?

Mike Miller - named "Deja Vu", perhaps?

I think there's one at Alton Towers, but I'm not positive.

Check with Paul Ruben, he probably knows for sure.

I think you're right, chris! There's also one at Idlewild, but I hear it's not one of those modern Vekoma models.
