Haunted Parks & Rides?

Hello everyone! I was told by one of my good friends today that the Sky Tower at Six Flags Magic Mountain is haunted? I was wondering if anyone has heard of this? Also, have you ever heard any stories about haunted rides or parks? If so tell. Hope to here some interesting stories.
Not sure of the details, but decades ago at Coney Island NY, on one of their coasters (not sure wich one, not Thunderbolt or Cyclone... one with a tower built in or near it) L.A.Thompson was said to be seen working on the coaster several times... even though he had died a few years earlier.

I found these at: http://theshadowlands.net/places/

Cedar Point Amusement Park - The carousel in the park is an old one, with hand carved horses. Legend has it that the man who carved the horses for the carousel caught his wife cheating on him with a jockey from the local horse track. He shot and killed them both for their infidelity. There is a black horse on the carousel with bones carved into his mane, and the image of a jockey is carved into the saddle of another horse. Employees have reported hearing the music of the carousel at night while it spins backwards. They have also reported leaving it at night and arriving the next morning to find the horses in different positions.

King's Island Amusement Park - A little girl's spirit is said to haunt King's Island along with several other ghosts. The girl has blond hair, blue eyes, and wears a pretty blue dress. She has been seen playing around in Water Works and scares tram drivers by playing hide-and-seek with them after the park is closed. She is thought to be buried in the cemetery that is located between the parking lot and the campgrounds which is on King's Island property. Another ghost haunted the observation deck of the Eiffel Tower. This ghost is thought to be the spirit of a young man who in a drunken stupor tried to climb the tower and fell to his death. It seems though that he has left. There is the ghost known as "the Beast" which haunts the rollercoaster with the same name. Several guests have seen this ghost. There is a ghost that supposedly died on the ride "the Octopus". There are many other spirits that roam this Paramount theme park.
There are several interesting stories in this previous thread; http://www.coasterbuzz.com/forums/thread.asp?ForumID=11&TopicID=4288

That carousel from Cedar Point was sent to one of the other parks. Dorney, wasn't it?

I think you are right, Jeff. Ironically, they use the shell of said carousel for a haunted attraction for Halloweekends.

At Lagoon aumsement park In Utah there is a story for evey room in Pionier Village. You just have to ask the right people ;) . There is also a really good story about Dracula's Castle, one of Lagoon's dark rides. It's been a while so im a bit rusty on the details but A guest in a wheelchair boarded the ride and was sent in, Her Wheelchair was left there in the exit area, hours later it was still there. Nobody came off the ride and got into the wheelchair. It is said that she (I belive shes called "Mother") "Haunts" the inside of Dracs Castle to this day...

Do they still have a display about the'haunted horse' in the Town Hall Museum? If so interested Buzzers can check out a picture on their next visit to the Point.
The military horse was the only part of the carousel at dorney that was haunted. You can tell what horse it is because it as a cut mane and a military star across the saddle. It also has military insignia branded on it. It does not go up and down as it is on the outside of the carousel. It's pretty cool. It's not the haunted one, though. There is a lot of different stories surround this carousel.

Yeah, and we blew all of those wide open a while back. Check the link that Taipan listed.
I've already posted this information in a previous thread, but check out my website at http://www.angelfire.com/tx2/GayRollerRide/ghosts.html for photgraphic evidence of hauntings at Six Flags Over Texas and Sea World Orlando, and a story about a haunting at Six Flags America!

Isn't pki haunted also buy a teenager wearing a redish colored jacket or something. Once down there I heard a few locals say that sometimes on the eiffell tower when there is not many people you can see a person in a reddish colored jacket thought to have come from the early 80s or something. I don't Know about that but if anybody does no anything similar I would love to know.
PKI is easily the most haunted park. Apparently, during the construction of Adventure Express, some workers wouldn't go into the woods behind the site because of ghosts and such.

Of course, those woods were cleared for SOB, so perhaps the ghosts have now become angry that their lurking area has been destroyed. Hm, i smell a ride theme!

My friend worked at PGA for 4 years, and let me in on some 'ghost stories' he heard and encountered at the park. These are all just what he said, I can't vouch for the accuracy of them.
-Drop Zone is haunted by the boy who fell from it to his death a few years ago.
-The Logger's Run flume is haunted by some lady.
-Top Gun is haunted by the fellow who was killed by a rider's legs when he went to retrieve a hat from under the first drop.
-The Whizzer area is haunted by a young man who stood up, and fell from, his car at the top of the spiral lift.
