Haunted Mansion new Temp change.

here is a video of the new hitchhiking ghosts at the Haunted Mansion.

From what I have seen this is a temp fix but I and the people in the video can clearly think thats its a bad fix. Lets just hope they don't ruin one of the most memorable parts of this attraction.

Its sad when your best friend asks you the exact running time of a ride. Good thing I didnt know.

Did they contract Cedar Fair to do the work?

That's what everything will look like in the haunted mansion of the future. lol

CG has it's place in the world, but not in Disney's Haunted Mansion.

I second Josh's statement...even though he stole it from me. ;)

Sorry, I forgot to add the (C) and disclaimer. :)

It's just so appropriate in this scenario.

I initially read this thread as -

"Haunted Mansion new Temperature change."

I almost didn't click on it, thinking "Seriously, who the eff cares if they changed the temp??"

Wow, they really took it personally! Looks like the conveyer belt that moves the ghosts must be broken, but they chose to keep them lit instead?

Edit: I guess I didn't really get what was going on. CG eh? In any case, it might be time to change my sig:

This SUX!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE they DID THIS!!!!!

LOL, when we were at Downtown Disney with Robo (stopping in for SP reprints before an early AM assault on Toy Story), the GR guy said that some of the stuff in their office had come from Adventurer's Club. I mentioned how the Disney-philes were NEVER going to forgive them for closing the place, and he said he rarely goes a day without hearing the word "Kungaloosh" at least once. Anything, and I mean ANY thing that Disney changes.....comes with backlash. Walt didn't really envision a working museum, did he? ;)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

My best guess is that once the new interactive queue is open that it will tie in to something that happens at the end of the ride (hence the work being done with the hitching ghosts). I'd rather have what's there now than have the entire ride down. Do you really think Disney is dumb enough to invest in beefing up the pre-ride experience only to hose down the end?

Yeah, they'd never dump millions into a strong beginning that leads to a let down. ::glances over at Expedition:Everest::: Nevermind.
