Has S:UE lost it's thrill?

Does anyone else think that S:UE is too predictable after the launch? I have found Mind Eraser to be more thrilling now. Anyone else think that S:UE (or it's clones) has lost it's novelty or am I just crazy?

Any ride can get boring if you ride it too much. I never found SUE to be boring in the least.

No way. I have been on it tons of times and it still delivers. The weightlessness on the back spike is great, it really gets me pumped. For me all launched rides never get boring, and Superman : UE has the most intense launch of any launched I've been on for now. Just the suspence of waiting for it to launch is one of the best parts. It's just so intense it never gets boring for me.
S:UE is excellent!  Any type of Intamin ride will never lose it's thrill!  It's an INTAMIN for crying out loud!

If you see me running, try and keep up!

Yeah but Flashback is an Intamin tooooo.  That is the roughest B&M i have ever been on.  I think they desinged it as a "going away present" ;)
I still haven't ridden an Impulse Coaster and I'm on 45 min away from SFMW but that will all change soon. I sure hope it's thrilling because it sure looks like it.

I've never been on an impulse, but it is true that even the best rides get more predictable as you ride them more. Let's face it. The first ride on a coaster is usually the best, so an impulse or any other ride gets a little less exciting every time.
You know a good coaster when you are still thrilled by it even after you have been on it numerous times.

i still think its thrilling, i never get bored of a coaster. It also helps when you sit in any seat and then go to your favorite (mine is the front on S:UE).

Millennium Force....it has its ups and downs.

Like my Timbers, and Dan's Magnum:)? Every other marathoner would agree too, even after hundreds of rides, it's still thrilling. Anyway, there is no way S:UE has lost its thrill, not for me. You can get different rides in different parts of the train, and the launch is always exciting...there are not too many places where you can achieve that element.

NO!
Before I rode V2 for the first time, it was predictable to me after the launch. Obviously you go forward, breakdown, backward, breakdown, forward, breakdown, backward hold, breakdown,  forward, breakdown, back to station, breakdown. Even so, it was thrilling. I knew exactly what it would do because I read all about it and watched it go and breakdown for 2 hours. I still had a blast, and the 2nd time was even better (front row rocks).

Losing it's thrill on a ride like that isn't cause by predictablity for me, but for simply riding it too much. Sometimes it seems like a curse that I live 200 miles away from Chicago, but when people start talking about how coasters get boring, I think of it as a gift.

I want my Hay Bayler back! Forget new rides! HAY BAYLER! While they are at it, why not bring back Tidal Wave too?

I think your crazy.

I understand what Big Kirby is talking about.  The first time I rode S:UE it was like "whoa!" but subsequent rides have just been "good" rides.  But I don't feel that way on most newer coasters.  Go figure.
I guess the overall answer was no LOL. Let me add on to my question; does the ride seem less special to SFWoA since it has been cloned?

...if I pretend that another one doesn't exist, or at the very least... doesn't have the same name, then I would say no as well!!

The ride is a good ride to begin with. It's a simple Intamin Impulse, not some huge layout coaster, so I can see why it would have been cloned eventually.

But to the average person, or even better-than-average coaster goer, they won't even notice a difference since the Intamin Impulse coasters aren't all located within parks that are close to one-another (unlike vekoma Boomerangs & SLC's).

Proud to be an American!!

BigKirby was right. S:UE was great for the first few rides trying different parts of the train, now its just the same old thrill. Where on coasters there can always be a different feel if the track is wet or dry, whether the trains are filled to capacity or not, and whether you ride it early in the day or later at night. Those different nuances don't exist so much for S:UE. Don't get me wrong it is a great ride, but after a few rides it just doesn't have that same thrill or different thrill as coasters...especially woodies.
