Has Cedar Point Started testing?

has cedar point started to test the roller coasters yet since the opening day is in a few weeks?

check on the webcams at www.cedarpoint.com

www.virtualmidway.com has a link to to the funcoast cam and www.digitalthrills.net check under news and find off season fix and click go. This will take to a live fixed webcam. All I can tell is that the ferris wheel has been testing.

Very likely, yes. Testing typically begins up to four weeks early, depending on the ride. Some will not be run until the week before opening (smaller rides, of course).

Nope. They're gonna fire everything up the day before opening day and hope for the best.

The best camera to watch and see what the crowds are like when it opens...or watch things test if you're going through coaster withdrawl is the Cleveland Cam: http://www.cleveland.com/cedarpointcam/index.ssf/video.ssf

That camera shows Power Tower testing (they did a lot of testing on it last week). And it just shows a lot of trucks driving around the messy midway right now...exciting!

I think some guy was looking at me in the Cleveland.com cam a few minutes ago... I officially have a male stalker.

Now here we can see the difference between someone using their brain efficiently by posting their question here, and someone not using their brain at all by looking at a webcam. (if you couldn't tell that was full of sarcasm). Using your mind is a great idea. How long would it have taken you to go to the cp website to check the webcam? And why do you care? They will be open for opening day. Cedar Fair is in for the money so just think. I know, it is tough.

Wow aren't we a friendly community. Maybe he didn't know about the cams. Give the guy a break and close the topic or just don't post at all if it bothers you that much. Obviously he knows the coasters must test, but maybe he doesn't have time to sit in front of a webcam watching all day.

I knew when I was posting this one that someone would pull that one up. I apologize for that one and I have learned not to ask stupid questions that I can easily figure out for myself.
