Has anyone had this problem?

My fiancee's kid said he left RCT in the CD rom in the other computer. The next morning when we went to use the computer we get a message saying that "NTLDR is missing". Needless to say when at bootup, the computer doesn't show that we have a hard drive, just a CDrom. does anyone have any ideas on how to get that file back? Do I have to reload the systme Bios? Jeff, do you know how? I'm really stuck .

I don't know what that is or how to fix it, but I can almost ocmpletely assure you leaving the CD in all night didn't cause the problem.

I found the problem. We got a virus that deleted a boot file needed for startup. GGGrrrrrr @ hackers!!!

I leave my LL CD in the CDROM drive all the time and have never had a problem with it.

"Grr @ hackers!"

Uh huh.. because the hacker made you open that .exe email attachment, right =).

No boy, some idiot got into my cable connection while we were online. Wow, I now know not to come here with a computer problem. Thanks for the noise.
