I met Walter at the opening of Great Adventure's Batman:the Ride, and we spoke for a few mins...what did we speak about? The possibility of a Laydown Flying Coaster! He spoke about how they have looked at that, but that the loading is a BIG issue, and they wouldn't build a low capacity ride.
The first time I met Claude, was the opening of Montu, he had apparently gone back to check out Kumba, and was on his way back toward the Egypt area, we stopped and spoke, we all put on our ray ban sunglasses, and told him that all the way driving from VA we told people we were "On a mission From Claude" (a take off on the Blues Brothers "Mission from God" ) He laughed and Punched me in the shoulder.
I have an alpengeist hat autographed by both
Ran into Claude most recently at the opening of Top Gun at Carowinds.
For those who might not know one from the other
Claude is funny and goofy
Walter is quiet and reserved

Anyways, I met Claude on SFGAdv opening day this past year. I ran to Nitro and noticed hium sitting in the third row. Naturally, I rode in the front the first time. I walked around and got back in line and when I got back into the front row for another ride, he was standing next to the ontrol booth. There was an open seat right next to me in the front and while I ws sitting there, laude just hopped into it! I almost had a heart attack! Anyways, we talke going up the lift hill, enjoyed the ride, and said farewell, for I was off to Batman.
