Harry Potter question

Have they announced how many rides is going to be in the new Harry Potter section at IOA? I know about the strong arm project that might happen but is there anything else that IOA is trying to plan?

Everything that is out there is rumors the really is no official rides announced yet. I hope its really cool, Im not a big potter fan but I think this will be incredible when it opens.

Its sad when your best friend asks you the exact running time of a ride. Good thing I didnt know.

^^Do you mean in addition to the rides already at IOA that are being incorporated into the Potter section?

The only thing I'd call a *given* in terms of existing stuff being converted...Flying Unicorn. Alchemy Bar, Enchanted Oak Tavern, Mythos, Pyrrhock and Blizz (aka, the Dragons), and Poseidon's Fury are parts of TLC that might be incorporated. Personally, from on-site looking, everything other than Flying Unicorn is going to be tricky in terms of the terrain, the bridge and resulting geography.

IIRC, no parts of JP are being rethemed.

P.S. I still want my Vekoma motorbike Quidditch match! ;)

I think it would be cool for them to build a few
of the the hogwarts classrooms and let school field trips teach a class there. *** Edited 4/17/2008 1:49:37 AM UTC by kevin38***
I stopped by the park after work today to relax and take a few spins on Dragons and the Hulk and construction is really coming along. It also appears that in the near future traffic will be rerouted out of the Lost Continent almost entirely via a new bridge from Jurassic Park (just past whatever that large quick service place is) right to Mythos. Makes me wonder if they'll close off everything in between (which would include Dragons) or just close off sections at a time and route the main flow of traffic over the new bridge (the latter is most likely the case).
