Harry Potter announcement next week

Hopefully not a fail. I can't imagine not being soft open only two weeks prior to grand opening. Means you won't have to wait as long to experience some of the attractions as later arriving guests will. Besides, Universal is saying that people who registered for the earlier HP vacation packages (prior to June 18) will get what they paid for. Good luck.

Yeah. Hoping to sneak in for a soft opening. Our weekend is pretty open as we've been there enough to not need to rush around and see everything.

I think they're using the term "360 film experience" to describe the ride, as in, "you'll ride through the Potter film experience." It's my understanding that it's not a stationary ride; that you're move from scene to scene (or room to room) as in any traditional dark ride.

That is my understanding as well, Moosh. I imagine that it'll be a lot like Spiderman, but with robo-arm.

If it is stationary, like the Simpsons attraction, for example, my excitement for the new ride will drop pretty far.
