Hard Rock Park just a memory as street name is finally changed

This week, Horry County officials replaced five Hard Rock Parkway road signs with signs that tell drivers they're cruising on Fantasy Harbour Boulevard. Freestyle Music Park paid $1,950 for the road signs that the county changes. The larger S.C. DOT highway signs will read "Fantasy Harbour" or "Fantasy Harbour District."

There's always the one sign left in the park - I did find all the street signage funny, as well as the occasional DoT signage for HRP. I sure hope the group that claims virtually all the IP for the old place gets a park up and running...that would be a cool place to visit! ;)

Actually I think they may have sold replicas in the stores. I am not sure. I only bought a few souvenirs...my favorite being the guitar pick and the cap you see in the photo. ;)
I am sure a lot of the HRP stuff will show up at various enthusiast events and Ebay, if they haven't already.
