As Hard Rock Park struggles to find a new owner, park groupies are lamenting the loss of what made the park so special to them - that rock 'n' roll feeling. The street performers, award-winning shows, visages of rock legends sculpted on tiki characters and quotes from superstars etched into stone - all a larger-than-life valentine to rock.

Groupies? Is that what they call HRP enthusiasts? I don't think anybody on this board would qualify as a 'groupie' for that park. Well, except maybe for Gonch. ;)

Don't you get it? "Groupies" falls in line with the whole Rock-N-Roll theme. That's all it is, just a play on the theme.
Still wish I had gotten two rides there....Max RPM, and the Moody Blues dark ride...kicking myself every time the park comes up. :(
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
Max RPM wasn't much beyond the unnerving lift wheel.
NIWSTT, however, kicked so much ass that it was ridiculous.

I am a hardcore HRP groupie and proud of it! :)
Like Gonch, I would do things for that park that can't be printed here like....never mind. ;)

I read your Blog, Tina. I know what you want to say.
Gonch, are we allowed to say "ass" here on CoasterBuzz?
Will this park reach mythological and legendary status if it doesn't reopen, like Kings Island's Bat or Busch Gardens' Dragon Fire?

^Oh that's right. My blog. ;) I can be a little more liberal with my language on there.
That's an interesting question, but I would rather see it reopen again and THEN go into legendary status. ;) I guess it could be one of those Woodstock things you can talk about years later "Yeah, kids I was there!" ;)
I guess I better hold onto my T-shirt, hat, and guitar pics I bought there!
